That Basic Grey mentioned in yesterday's post arrived this morning, and yesterday afternoon saw the arrival of a parcel packed with a proliferation of Prima papers and products.

There's a ginormous box of roses as well.

Christmas is on the way, and we're finally seeing some new Christmas papers. Yay! say the cardmakers. We've had some vintagey grungey looking Karen Foster here for a couple of weeks and there are some new cutesy glittery papers from Imaginisce. The new Christmas papers from Graphics 45 as well as restocks of last years Christmas range arrived late last week direct from Graphics 45, as well as the Steampunk and Halloween in Wonderland ranges. We should be receiving our new Basic Grey sometime over the next couple of days - Jovial & Pyrus. For the magazine junkies, there are still a couple of issues of Create: Holidays and September Cards on the counter.

Hannah will be teaching another great Fast and Fabulous class on Thursday the 26th. You will go home with 3 great layouts one which includes a fabulous flip out detail perfect for extra photos! Cost for the class is just $12.

Sarah has a gorgeous set of Cuttlebug Cards on offer for Christmas .... you know it's only 4 months away don't you?? There are two class times available, Tuesday 24th from 9.30-12.30 or Saturday 28th from 10-1. Here are some peeks of the 4 cards included in the class:

 

 

And last but certainly not least another card class .... this one taught by me! hehehe Quick and Easy cards is on Saturday 28th from 2-4 (just before the Pizza Crop) We will be making 10 cards in total from the Cosmo Cricket Delovely Range. I am soooo in love with these papers I am sure quite a few will be sneaking in my bag home with me .... hehehe I will also be running a full day workshop in September featuring the Walk in the Park range. It will be a 6hr class and you will get layouts and instructions for 10 completed pages. Keep your eye out for that one.

Shona has another series of gorgeous hand coloured cards featuring the cutest little Christmas mice! Micey Nice Christmas Cards is on this Saturday morning. There are very limited places still available so get in quick if you are interested.

On Saturday afternoon Debra has a great class perfect for scrapping your male photos. The Perfect Gentleman is a 2 hr class with the option of a kit if you would like. The pages have a vintage yet stylish feel and would be great for heritage pics or the like. The attention to detail in these pages is just superb but without being two over the top .... after all they are for the boys!

On Saturday night we will be holding our monthly Pizza Crop. A whole 5 hours away from the kids and hubby to scrap till your hearts content! Not only that, you can blow your weekly calorie count along with the rest of us and indulge in yummy Pizza Capers dinner and the best home baked treats for supper!! $18 will cover all costs, so after you've booked your seat all you need to do is bring your stash and scrap!

If you love Donna's paper piecing but are finding it difficult to make it along to her classes than I have found something in the store which might be just what you need!

Donna has made these two super cute layouts using the brand new Bo Bunny papers. There are patterns available behind the counter for them and at only $3 each they are a bit hard to pass up!

Okay, so I know it's only Monday, but it's not too early to start thinking about the weekend is it?? What better way to cure the Mondayitis then to make some scrappy plans for the weekend coming.

There are some great classes on the calendar this weekend so I've taken over the blog to give you a few sneaky peeks of what's available.

Saturday morning Donna has another fabulous paper piecing class .... "Beware of the Dog!"

 

Don't tell him this, cause I am certain it would dent his little puppy ego, but he is just so cute! Not scary at all! There are still some places available for the class .... cost is $12 and there is the option of a paper kit if you would like, otherwise you may wish to use something that co-ordinates with your photos better.

Saturday afternoon I am running the "Welcome Little One Workshop". There is a choice of a boy or girl kit using the Making Memories Pitter Patter range of papers. Over the 4 hour class we will be making 6 layouts and learning a couple of techniques to embellish your layouts. Tuition for the class is $24. Here is some sneaks off my sample pages which use the boy range .... the girl looks just like this only pink.

If you're into cardmaking Katrina has a fabulous class for you on Sunday. Her Shabby Chic cards are so sweet! Lots of techniques to be learned during this 3 hr class. Check out the sneaks below.

I've also spied some great new papers in the shop .... and now that I've had first dibs I feel it's safe to share them with the rest of you. hehehe

Great new Basic Grey papers hit the shelves this week .... for the girls "Olivia" and "Oliver" for the boys. There's loads of double sided papers to choose from at just $1.70 a sheet and those cute little alphas you spy are only $3!

New DT member Louise White has made some gorgeous samples from the Olivia range which showcases just how versatile these papers are! Grungy girl on the left, sweet girl on the right.

And if your a fan of Donnas paper piecing I also spied the cutest little Deer on the class wall which will be coming up in August. Her pages use the Olivia and Oliver papers above.

Also new in are these 3 ranges from Paper Loft. There are 9 double sided papers in each range for just $1.60 a sheet and the word/embellishment sheets are a measly $1.90 ..... yes you read right .... $1.90!!

I will be using the Morning Rain range of papers for an up and coming workshop in August so keep your eye out for the next newsletter due out later this week.

There are also some great new Adorn It papers .... mainly boy stuff but a little bit of girl and travel papers too. I would share those as well but I afraid that since this is probably the longest blog post ever I may be starting to lose a few of you by now. So I'll take some pics with the hopes that I will be able to reproduce my blogging efforts later in the week from the comfort of my lounge.

Have you seen these cards? They are so cute! You make 16 little notecards and their own special presentation box in this 3 hour class, all for the paltry sum of $27. How good is that! All you need bring is something to cut & stick with. I'm thinking they'll be perfect to slip in your kids lunchbox, hubby's briefcase, girlfriend's purse, co-workers desk, or present the whole box as a special gift.

 The class is on Saturday July 24th, from 9:30am until 12:30pm.

If anyone is after some ideas for k-ute cards for boys, Robyn J is doing a class for us here on Sunday 23rd, and her cards are now on display in the store.

We had Copic markers arrive on Friday. I've needed them for such a long time, but been so strong, and resisted their siren call. Now I've weakened. Just have to learn how to use them now.

Arrivals during the week.
