We made the looooong trek over to Printblocks today. Oh My Goodness, we were not at all restrained. There was so much we needed to have, and you know our self restraint is Not Good when it comes to new pretties. There's a couple of new K&Co ranges, including Christmas & a heritagey line, new 7 Gypsies (wait til you see the flocked paper YUM) and alot of other bits & pieces that managed to sneak their way into our baskets. We'll be getting it out over the next couple of days, so drop in & have a look.
WAS 2 weeks ago, I know. Here are some pics from our day, anyway. Lots of delicious food, champagne, give aways, everyone seemed to have a great day. Don't ask me which horse won though. I can tell you one with 4 legs, that's as far as my racing knowledge goes. Here are our lucky sweep winners - congrats Kyla, Linda & Lynne.
Marion won the beautiful bouquet donated by Bliss Blooms & Bouquets
here's a close up of the flowers
& Lynne was the lucky winner of the Melissa Frances Scrapbook Kit, signed by Melissa.
We've had our GCD Studio & Crate Paper shipments come in today. So nice. Here's some of the Crate Paper
and most of the GCD Studio papers
don't those autumnal colours down the bottom look gorgeous. And a close up of one of the black & white papers. I'd love a skirt with lacework like this on it.
So Excited! Deb picked up our Making Memories Slice order this morning. All you girls with backorders, we're working our way through the phone list. Post more later, eating my noodles now.
Have you been desperate to find out who the winners of our October promotion were? First up is Suzette, who asked for a Cricut, and didn't believe me when I called Friday afternoon telling her she had one.
Sheryl chose a Zutter Binder, Val was very happy to win her Cuttlebug, & Dawn is the lucky winner of the Making Memories Slice. It was absolutely wonderful to be able to play Santa. Thanks everyone who entered.
Final 2 days to get your entries in to win your choice of a Cricut, Cuttlebug, Zutter Binder or Making Memories Slice. We'll be drawing the winning 4 after the shop shuts at 5pm, Friday afternoon.

These 2 cuties are just a couple of the Farmyard animals Donna will have for you in the Paper Piecing workshops she's running in November. The class is being held twice, first up on Saturday 8th @ 12pm, then again on Thursday 13th @ 10am.

Last Friday Deb & I went to a day of classes at BumbleBee Crafts, taught by Melissa Frances, who designs the most beautiful vintagey type papers & embellishments & home wares. Love love love her stuff. I even got things finished!! Needless to say, came back laden with new goodies, including the new Melissa Frances Christmas line. Here's a photo of Melissa signing a photo album, part of a scrapbooking kit YOU could win if you come along to our Melbourne Cup day on Tuesday.
